The Financial Advisor serves as a trusted advisor and client advocate for Fremont Bank’s high-net-worth clients within an assigned geographic market. Reporting to the Fremont Bank Investment Department Director and/or Senior Vice President, the Financial Advisor is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering customized investment and financial planning solutions, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and grow the practice.

The role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategy, risk management, and fiduciary responsibilities, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, banking partners, investment professionals, and external centers of influence.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary investment resource for high-net-worth clients, developing a comprehensive understanding of their financial goals, objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity requirements, and future needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor customized investment strategies and financial plans aligned with client objectives, investment policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide proactive, client-centered advice, including strategic and tactical portfolio recommendations, investment opportunities, risk management strategies, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Monitor client portfolios and investment activities to ensure alignment with established objectives, policies, risk parameters, and compliance requirements.
• Identify and address complex client investment needs, including liquidity requirements, financing considerations, market events, and changes in financial circumstances.
• Build, maintain, and grow an assigned book of high-net-worth clients through exceptional service, proactive communication, relationship management, and business development.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with centers of influence, including attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, business leaders, and other professional and community organizations.
• Collaborate with internal banking and investment teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and strengthen overall client relationships.
• Utilize CRM, financial planning, research, and portfolio management technology to enhance client service and deliver customized solutions.
• Ensure assets are accepted, managed, and administered in accordance with operational controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Review client agreements and documentation to ensure the Bank’s responsibilities, authority, and potential liabilities are appropriately addressed.
• Maintain current knowledge of financial markets, economics, investment products, industry developments, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, training, coaching, research, and peer collaboration to continually enhance investment knowledge and client advisory skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, compliance, and fiduciary responsibility.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of financial advisory or wealth management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading client discussions and providing advice in a fiduciary capacity.
• Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65 equivalent) and California life and health licenses within six months of start date.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, economics, investment products, portfolio management, and financial planning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship-management, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
• Highly organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a performance-driven environment.
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive client information.
